Venue Edinburgh Liquid Room. 19/10/2012.

TEED, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Orlando Higginbottom, is currently on his tour concert, which will be going to various countries around the world, including the UK, he will also be playing in France, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Mexico, and Australia. 

As part of the TEED UK Tour, TEED comes to Scotland, attending venues in Edinburgh and Glasgow, before heading South to England, then it is off to Europe before other countries around the globe.

TEED, Totally Enormous Extincy Dinosaur's, Orlando Higginbottom will be playing at the venue called The Liquid Room when in Scotland, it is located in the scottish capital, Edinburgh. It is a night club, venue, which is well known for class acts appearing in Scotland. It's approxiamate location is near The Grassmarket in Edinburgh's capital, which is near the castle. This is the actual address of The Liquid Room , 9c Victoria Street, EH1 2HE, EDINBURGH. 0131 225 2564.

     

TEED stands for Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

Orlando Higginbottom is the person behind the music that is TEED.

He was born on the 7th March 1986 in Oxford, England.

TEED, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Orlando Higginbottom had a debut album and it was released earlier in the year, the date of release of his Album / CD was 11th June 2012 on Polydor Record Label and is called Trouble, it includes many of his pre-released singles.

TEED singles released are as follows :

Trouble, Garden, You Need Me On My Own, Tapes & Money, Stronger/American Dream part2, Household Goods, Your Love.

He has also done remixes for many musicians amongst some i have listed are :
Sugababes, Professor Green, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, Friendly Fires.

DJ Orlando Higginbottom's music is electronic dance, and he has many amazing tracks amongst his already expanding releases.

My favorites would be American Dream part2, although it may be asked where is part 1 ? also, Your Love, Household Goods are also amazing music tracks.

TEED also gave permission for his single Dream On to be used in the Hurtwood Video Prize competition, where new video makers were invited to make a music video to go with various music artists, and amongst them was TEED's, Dream On. There were many entries of budding young video producers. A great idea for those interested in video production.

 

Party, party, Party. Lets boogaloo till we puke, or not, as won't be consuming alcohol, but will be there for the music and being entertained by the experience.

It is good times that roll, so, let the good times role, although you may be going through a rough time in life you must let the music take control and feel the love.

When someone makes you sad it is sometimes difficult to repair yourself emotionly, as the person hurting you is neglecting your needs to be heard as they would normally of been there to talk and listen, but now they decide to be shut off and be selfish, that must be terrible , not only for the person being ignored, especially if there is no reason, but it is also a shame and pity for the person who is being selfish, as it is a most unattractive trait which is sometimes so not obvious, and only rises out of the narcissistic person but which can be accepted by those that know them, as it is closely guarded, like love for some people, so that for people who do not know them well, it remains hidden, until the trait arises. Ugly, but Love. Eh.

Some people think they are good listeners but do they hear or see the truth, is there a truth, it should'nt have to be like that, to have belief is a nice thing, but to have upset is sad, let us smile, but will people only be smiling because i am, oh this is so complicated, or as complicated as i make it, well, life is a complex issue.

Well no more illusion, see it for what it is, as it is dance , party, club time, head banging, fist thumping, body pumping, you time with good friends and good music. You may meet new people who are out also but i would prefer to remain focussed, the music and good friends is what the evening is about and not getting hammered and out of control and arrested on some breaking and entering charge within Edinburgh Castle. haha!!!  I am the King Of The Castle or The Queen. !!!

Arrived at the club, venue at 6:45pm for an opening time of 7pm.

Tour bus parked ouside The Liquid Room in Edinburgh, about 6 people in the line to gain entry to the concert, the line grows as the time passes. The Liquid Room opens after the doorstaf and bouncers arrive, it is time to enter. On going inside we make our way to the toilets, to relief, then to the cloakroom, to relieve ourselves of our coats and jackets, then to the bar for a drink, refreshment.

With the crowd growing the dance floor fills steadily, and also the seating area. At this time the balcony area is closed, but there is another area of The Liquid Room to explore, that is the ouside area, where i see someone sitting alone in a seat, wearing a green parka, hood up, looking guarded, could this be Orlando Higginbottom, AKA, TEED, Totally Extinct Enormous Dinosaurs. I do a shift over near to the Yoda, guarded, but when i get close the hooded person evades, and moves to a secure area, oh , maybe it was, or maybe it wasnt. We the make way back inside and soon the music is pumping to the beat of Roosevelt, TEED's support act. He was good and in key with the main stage performance, some dance, and some sit and enjoy. After the supporting act, Roosevelt, there is a break in the live music, this is to help in setting up the main event, TEED.

TEED comes on the stage and the crowd go wild. His music is what we have grown to like and dance soon takes hold. I dance around my friends until i can control no more, and off i go, Dance, dance, Dance.

I seem to now be at the front right of the stage, but on looking behind me i cannot find my friends, i continue to dance. I am liking the music and it is affirming that this concert is a must, but where are my friends, i do not wonder so that i find them, so i dance some more.
Time is short so enjoy yourself, it's easy as can be.

At one point during the set, an electrician appears by me to turn the fan on, which is directed onto the stage and i presume it would help to cool down TEED and the girl Dino Dancers. Then there is a short with the wiring and all the power is lost, Orlando asks the electrician what he touched, the concert is plunged into Power Loss, so the fault caused the trip switch to function and when reset the power is back on, but no fan power. The crew try to fix the fan to no joy. Sweat. We wanna make you sweat.

Teed, every now and again, would be joined on stage with his 2 female dino dancers equipted with tail, the dancers do the dancing, so do i. A few times saw the dancers fire confetti poles into the crowd, massive reaction. The dancers grace our preseance with a new costume yet again. The crowd is full of jumpers and revellers, partying hard. At one point someone even jumps onto the stage, but the staff react well to stop any interferance with the TEED set, and the person is lead off stage. Woop woop.

TEED, is venturing into a whole new world, exhilarating.

So, i boogie to the music and at various times through the night, i look around the Liquid Room looking for my friends, but cannot see them.  I dance again. And continue on this loop behavior.

Liquid Room is jumping with people, enjoying the experience of the TEED concert gig. Around me people give way to the dance, feel the music, wave your hands  in the air, wave them like you  just don't care. Which reminds me of the last song being played, when a bouncer comes and stands right by me, almost in my exact spot, i feel a bit puzzled as to why, so i say this club needs Atmosphere not Attitude. Growls.

The girls around me dancing don't have to be quite as self concious, with themselves, as they have a mad Jesus, Hagrid, bearded Rasputin type character giving it ye-ha. Mad for it.

       

When the music gig has ended the lights come on and i meet my friends, we chat about the night and i apologize for my going off, friends accept, oohhh Thank You so much for kind, understanding friends.
While waiting for the cloakroom and our jackets i meet a girl who has lost her coat, another girl who asks if i think she is going to find what she is looking for ? she is looking on the floor for her nose ring, but has found a pendant for a necklace, i also meet a few girls who want to talk about dancing and the music. You Dancer. It has been a great concert gig.

  

When i finally collect my coat i am told that i am the last person in the Liquid Room, to which i reply No, you are still here. Puzzled. I  then make my way to the entry / exit of The Liquid Room, where i meet one of the girls, dancing inside the club, Hotpants. Then one of the friends i arrived with, who has impeccable timing, says it's time to leave, as we make our way to the Royal Mile, he explains that he seen Orlando Higginbottom after the performance and shook his hand, my friend well happy. He says that TEED was outside the front of Liquid Room, by the side alley and after he shaked hands TEED walked away with a couple of girls who were with him. Shaking TEED hand. Gripping.

Dance is a factor which can promote various emotion, joy, happiness. The crowd on the dance floor is full with people, and emotion, with the surrounding areas giving way to the growing masses. Party party.

On going for a drink we meet with a bar staff member, who in my opinion has the best hair. Sculptured.
Later, at the gig end, i see a girl with the best tights, they are patterned and black in colour. Sleek.
Another person making impression is someone who is wearing a pattern blue trouser jumpsuit. Loud and Proud.

Were you at The Liquid Room to see TEED ?
