Styled To Rock is a television competition program to find Britain's next top designer, who will create a design for Rihanna to wear on her concert tour.
The mentors and judges in Styled To Rock are as follows:
Rihanna, pop singer, music artist.Born in Barbados on 20th February 1988.
Henry Holland, fashion designer and creator of brand label House of Holland. Born in England 26th May 1983.
Nicola Roberts, pop group singer and dancer in girl music band Girl's Aloud. Born in England 5th October 1985.
Lysa Cooper, personal stylist to Rihanna.

The worlds of fashion and Celebrity come together hard as the search for Rihanna's next design superstar continues.
From the 12 designers originally hand picked for STR, just 6 remain in the competition Styled To Rock, to win the ultimate fashion prize, to dress Rihanna for an on stage live performance. So far the designers have designed and created oufits for Rizzle Kicks, Pixie Lott, Katy B, The Saturdays and Scissor Sisters.
Living the ecstacy and the agony, high fashion, high drama, this is styled to rock. STR.
The television show is hosted in London, and this week the designers will meet with the most high profile client to date. The designers of Styled To Rock meet with the judges and mentors, Henry Holland, Nicola Roberts and Lysa Cooper, and are told that the next customer client is special guest British pop princess Cheryl Cole, who rose to fame through girl music band Girl's Aloud, and since then has forged a succesful solo artist music career. The designers are told that high profile client Cheryl Cole, requires an outfit for stage performance, and top of the criteria is that Cheryl dances alot, she wants colours, fun, sexy, edgy, glamorous, cool and Cheryl also does`nt mind showing a bit of human flesh, so the designers must take that in to account when creating for her. The designers are also told by Lysa Cooper that in this challenge they must create their own print, to be used in the design for Cheryl Cole's outfit.
So Cheryl Cole brief is : Comfortable to dance in, Print must play a large part, Fun colours.
The designers are really excited about this STR challenge but also realize that they are under a lot of pressure, the designers have just 3 days to design and create an outfit for this weeks Cheryl Cole challenge. Cheryl, pictured below wearing Alexander McQueen, will pick her favorite outfit and the judges will pick the worst 2 designs which will determine which Styled To Rock designer will be eliminated from the TV show STR.
So the Styled To Rock challenge begins. For the designers to create a print they must obtain inspiration, so head off outside to gain the needed inspiration to create a print, they have cameras with which they take photographs to help them make a fabric print. The designers will then work with a graphic artist designer who will make the designers vision a reality. You can be as creative as you like when designing prints, but the main thing is, would you want to wear that. Heidi is the only designer in STR that is struggling with focus and being inspired, so suffers from stress, she is the only designer yet to win a challenge.
Next the styled to rock designers must create the pattern at a graphic design studio, using the photograph's they have taken with the incorporated theme, for the design on the outfit. Everything i this challenge is bespoke. As well as designing, the conteatant designers in the competition STR must also cast their own showcase models. Henry Holland says that picking a model can make or break an outfit, you must know what you are looking for to make your outfits shine.
When the Styled To Rock designers recieve the fabric prints, they are all ecstatic apart from Heidi, who had a hard time with her vision and therefore believes her print has suffered, as well as this she does not get the model that she picked due to another designer picking the same model. Nicola Roberts visits the designers at the design studio to talk with the styled to rock designers, giving them advice and looking over the designers designs. Nicola Roberts then invites the contestants out for dinner, helping to relax them. Yum yum.
Now is the final day of the Cheryl Cole challenge to dress her, it's showcase day.
The designers must make the models ready to present to Cheryl Cole, each STR designer has an individual designed room to present the outfit, the room is themed with the idea theme of the designed outfit, it's inspiration. Pictured below is the Styled To Rock designers and the creations made for Cheryl Cole.
Cheryl Cole and Nicola Roberts visit each Styled To Rock designer in the individual rooms, to assess the outfit's that have been made. Cheryl Cole must pick a winner after seeing all the designers creations, the designer who won the challenge is Heidi, pictured below. She is delighted.
Henry Holland then announces that he thinks that all the other Styled To Rock designers must meet with the mentors and judges back at the office, as he thinks that all the designs were as bad as each other, so 5 designers not 2 face elimination.
The mentors mention how dissappointed they are with the STR designers outfits, a lack of originality in designs, lack of research and knowledge and some designers were so off the mark. The mentors and judges listen and comment on the Styled To Rock dseignersbefore asking them to leave the office while they deliberate. After some time the 5 STR designers are asked in to the office for the result, after much deliberation about who should leave, it is Ralph, pictured below, who is to be eliminated from Styled To Rock.
