The fashion industry is do or die.
The star client will this week pick the winning design and the mentors and judges, Henry Holland, Nicola Roberts and Lysa Cooper, must eliminate the weakest designer. Where 12 people, contestants, have now become only 5, with only 2 weeks left, until one will win the prize, of dressing Rihanna.
Henry Holland announces to the Styled to Rock designer's that the challenge this week is for one of the world's biggest style icon's, it's major. The STR designers will be designing for Katy Perry.
Katy Perry launched her debut single in 2008, with a headline grabbing single. In 2011 Katy's style made her MTV artist of the year. Nominated for 8 grammy awards. She has sold 11 million albums worldwide.
Lysa Cooper tell's the designer's to have passport's at the ready, because they are going to be flying to NewYorkCity. USA. Excitment.
The main inspiration for the design is the 90's witch film's i.e. The Craft.
Katy Perry guidelines are ; Be experimental - try something new. Think innovative - stylish & sexy. Be mindfull of the large chest & sensitive skin. Use pastels.
Mentor's and judge's Henry Holland, Nicola Roberts and Lysa Cooper want the Styled To Rock designers to know how the client feels when adourning a specific look, so the mentors have arranged hair and make-up for the STR designers and have also assigned each designer to have the look of a certain superstar, pop icon, and have photograph's taken.
Meganne is Madonna.
Heidi is Kylie Monogue.
Steve is David Bowie.
Jacqueline is Bjork.
Zainab is Rihanna.
It will be a fantastic moment, to feel what it is, to be the entertainer. So it's off the wall. Pop that.
With 2 days until the STR designers leave to go to New York, America. The STR designers must first design an oufit for Katy Perry. Henry Holland talks with all the STR designer's, to see how the idea's of the design are progressing. There is complicated drapping, pattern and leather cutting, thew ambition is showing. Henry Holland hopes that the Styled To Rock designer's do not lose focus on the task ahead.
There is now only 24hours left before leaving for New York, USA. The designers are hard at work. Henry Holland shares any concerns he has with mentor Lysa Cooper, she then speaks with each of the STR designer's. The pressure is intense, and Heidi breaks down, crying, she needs the support of others. Everything will be alright.
Oh, the stress and the drama. The design's must be complete before leaving the UK capital, London.
With all the designers outfits finished, the aeroplane takes off, for America and New York, landing.
For an unknown fashion designer, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

It's showcase day, and each of the Styled To Rock designers will present to the most high profile client to date, Katy Perry. The showcase will be held in an exclusive Manhattan hotel suite, where the designers are reunited with mentor, Lysa Cooper. The STR designers also meet with Johnny Wujek, personal stylist to Katy Perry, he will go over the designers oufits and provide some last minute, quality control. Katy's costume can't be boring, they must have life. Johnny has concerns with Steve's oufit being a bit loose fitting and perhaps reveal. Steve agree's and makes some changes. All the designers are nervous but also excited, as the time to show the oufit to Katy near's.
When Katy Perry arrives she says that hopefully the design will excite.
Katy Perry sits inbetween Lysa Cooper and Johnny Wujek to watch the show of clothes. The clothing will be presented individually by each Styled To Rock designer. Let the show begin.

All the STR design's have made an impression on Katy Perry, for both good and bad reason's.
Katy discusses the designer oufit's with lysa Cooper and Johnny Wujek, and comes to a decision, as to her favorite design.
The Styled To Rock designer's are called into the room, together they will hear the result of this week's challenge, who will be the winner ?
For Katy Perry it's all about being comfortable and being able to wear something effortlessly and without thinking of disaster, having a nip slip or something falling off or breaking. She needs to focus to be on the performance.
The outfit which stood out the most for Katy Perry was Heidi's outfit, you have won this challenge, well done. Heidi has put her own spin on the 90's witch vibe to include humour, it looks effortless without obvious, try hard. It look's so natural. Happy Heidi, pictured below. Out the bag.
The mentors and judges meet the Styled To Rock competition designers to discuss the trip to New York. It was a dream, fun and exciting. Great challenge.
The mentor's and judges must pick who is safe in the STR fashion competition. So they pick Heidi, as challenge winner, and also Jacqueline and Steve, they are all still in Styled To Rock. Rock on.
So that leaves Meganne,pictured above left, and Zainab, pictured above right, to face the judges criticism about the design of style they had for Katy. The judges listen to both STR designer's and talk with them about the design's before asking them to leave the room while they discuss in private and deliberate, who is to be eliminated from Styled To Rock ?
