Fashion & Celebrity STR Styled To Rock Grand Final.

The Styled To Rock Grand Final has arrived, with Rihanna in town. It was 10 weeks ago Rihanna hand picked designers to be in the STR competition, they were unknown designers but since then they have been guided by their mentors, (picture below) Henry Holland, Nicola Roberts and Lysa Cooper to create oufits for some of the biggest popstars on the planet. Music goes with fashion.

There are 3 STR designers still in the competition, they are Heidi, Jacqueline and Zainab. Only one will win the chance to dress Rihanna. It is the ultimate challenge to design an outfit and present the creation to Rihanna in person, and they have only 4 days to do it.

Zainab won 4 challenges, faced elimination 3.

The designers of styled to rock str are collected by Rolls Royce and taken to Hyde Park in London where Rihanna will perform in front of a 65,000 crowd. They are then taken to meet with the mentors to discuss the event and also talk about the Rihanna challenge.

"Egyptian Theme - Cleopatra", "Tribal but street", "Allow for movement", "Tearaway".

It is a really important week, so the mentors announce that since it has been 2 months that the STR Styled To Rock designers have been living and working together, they are told that they should go home, home,for space and inspiration.
Jacqueline goes home to North London to see her mum, emotional.
Zainab goes home to Stratford to see her sister, happy.
Heidi goes home to the village of Thomson to see her family, cheerful.

Having some time at home has allowed the STR designers to recharge so that they are ready to hit the shops on there return, but Heidi's train is running late, chu chu.!!!
So with Jacqueline and Zainab going back to the design studio with the fabric and other items for design, Heidi is just arriving back in London. She must now play catch up and shop to drop. Focus.

In the design studio the pressure is on and henry Holland arrives to discuss their outfit's for Rihanna.
The designer's have 48 hours, which is 2 days left. The designs are scrutinised by Nicola Roberts and Lysa Cooper.

The designers in the Styled To Rock competition work hard to make their vision come to life.

It is the last ever day in the STR design studio, to date the designers have made 19 outfits and with the last outfit being created for Rihanna the Styled To Rock designer's are running high with emotion. Pressure, step Up, Tension.

Models enter the design house to assist in the fitting of the garments which have been made for Rihanna.
Both Jacqueline and Zainab have made oufit's which are far too small. Sew Hard.
While Heidi has made anoutfit which actually fits.

It's judgement day and the ultimate showcase with client and popstar Rihanna.
The STR styled to rock designers make final adjustments to the outfit's before presenting their creations to Rihanna and the other STR mentors.
The 3 STR designers meet Rihanna and she tells them that one of them will leave today and the actual winner will be revealed on stage at the Wireless Festivel at Hyde Park in London UK.
The 3 Styled To Rock designer's are in shock. They thought that today the winner would win. Rihanna wants to take the 2 remaining STR designers to Hyde Park for the final reveal. Who wins ?

It is showcase time for STR Rihanna challenge and first up is Zainab, then Heidi and last is Jacqueline, after the showcase Rihanna speaks with each of the designer's about the creation of their outfit.

Then it is decision time for Rihanna to choose who will leave, be eliminated from Styled To Rock.

The STR designer's enter the showcase room to hear the result of who is to be eliminated. It is decided that Jacqueline that is to be sent home, eliminated as her design was similar to something Rihanna previously wore before, Jacqueline is upset, but understands.

 

It is Zainab and Heidi who are goingon to the final reveal, at Hyde Park's Wireless Festivel in London.
Rihanna will pick either Zainab or Heidi as the winner of STR styled to rock. Rihanna will wear the winning outfit on stage in front of 65,000 music fans.
Both the Styled To Rock STR designer's meet with Henry Holland and Nicola Roberts at the wireless festival to enjoy the event before the final reveal, winner of Styled To Rock.

With an hour before Rihanna going on stage, she has already picked thev winning oufit and has her tailor, Ian Hundley, make some final adjustments.

  

Zainab and Heidi wait patiently for the superstar to come on stage at the wireless Festivel, where rihanna will be dressed in the winning outfit. Ther are 65,000 music fans waiting to see Rihanna perform.
It is tense, then we see Rihanna on stage and she is wearing Zainab's outfit, Zainab is so happy, but consoles Heidi, Nice.

It is the best day of zainab's life. Heidi is gutted but says Rihanna's oufit looked amazing.

Rihanna says it was very tough to pick a winner from the two, but at that moment in time it was Zainab's outfit which captured her as an artist.

Zainab gets a backstage pass, and meets up with rihanna to talk about the performance and the outfit.
