                                                       MILANO MODA UOMO.

Milano Moda Uomo is Milan Fashion Man or could be classed as Milan Fashion Week for Men. It is not only the woman that has an interest in clothes but also the man. People are individual and cannot be classified into because you are a women you should hold a clothing company in high regard and the same can apply for men or vice versa.

Milano Moda Uomo is sponsored by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.
It is currently January in the year 2013 and fashion designers and fashion houses who design and make clothing for the followers of fashion to wear are presenting the Autumn Winter 2013 2014 clothes collections on the Milan in Italy catwalks and runways. There are many great brands and labels of fashion attending this event and i will be watching as the fashions unfold at Milan Men's Fashion Week Shows for the season Autumn Winter for the year 2013 2014.

So whether you call it Autumn Winter or Autumn/Winter or AW or A/W or Fall Winter or Fall/Winter or FW or F/W or something else is entirely up to yourself, anyway it is the collections by designers which will be on show for the upcoming year 2014 although some call it 2013 or 2013/2014 or 2013-2014 so confusing. The show is for men or a man or gent or gentleman or gentlemen or a guy or guy's or a dude or dudes to speculate which fashion clothing they desire. This is Milan Fashion Week or Milans Fashion Week or Milan's Fashion Week or MFW or M.F.W. or ... oh, now i'm confused ! So look below at the menswear which will become available to wear in the Autumn Winter of 2013 2014.

The followers of fashion will be flocking to Milan in Italy to catch a glimpse of what the fashion designers have designed and created for menswear in the coming season which is Autumn Winter 2013 2014. Burberry at Milano Moda Uomo.
The Burberry clothing collection which was on the runway catwalk for Milan Men's Fashion was very promising with classic designs on show along with some newer innovative work. The Burberry collection had lots to offer and the bags which were of burberry classic check were also seen with animal print which was eye catching. The Burberry shoes were also made to match the Burberry bags and were a Burberry's compliment to the Burberrys fashion house.

Calvin Klein at Milano Moda Uomo.
The Calvin Klein clothes on the runway catwalk for Milan Men's Fashion were dark and discreet. Although the Calvin Klein clothing may of been black or dark blue the throws of these colours are not out of place in an Autumn Winter collection. The Calvin Klein designs were mostly of the norm and very wearable for those that blend in with the rest of society.

Versace at Milano Moda Uomo.
The Versace clothes which were on the runway catwalk at Milan Men's Fashion were indeed a mixed bag. That can be a bad thing but in this instance for Versace and me it was a good thing. The Versace clothing on display was from classic suits with check like prince of Wales, to more out the box thinking, with a contrast of materials to create some really great fashion garments. There were a vast range of clothes displayed, from long coats to bodysuits, which are underwear, and well, maybe not for the masses, however the Versace fashion collection was sure up there. Versace is flambouant and confident.

Dolce & Gabbana at Milano Moda Uomo.
The Dolce & Gabbana clothing collection which was on the runway catwalk for Milan Men's Fashion was Sicilian through and through. The Dolce & Gabbana designs were from floral patterns to baroque themes, some of the clothing was astoundingly beautiful, with flowers and madonna's, it is difficult for me not to like, but then everyone is different, but with this fashion collection the main theme was there to be seen.

Neil Barrett at Milano Moda Uomo.
The Neil Barrett clothes which were on the runway catwalk for Milan Men's Fashion were muted in colour, but then again it is a clothing collection for the Autumn Winter, but does that mean that there should be no bright colours, well for Neil Barrett the designs were geometric which were effective. The clothes by Neil Barrett are certainly wearable and some of the designs are classic wear. As well as the geometric jumpers on display i rather liked the trousers, which were interesting in the silhouette, and teamed with the footwear made an impact.

Trussardi at Milano Moda Uomo.
The Trussardi clothing collection which was seen at Milan Men's fashion was a flurry of leaves falling from the trees, that would just about explain the colours used in this Trussardi collection. The clothes were very understated and merge into the landscape type, for someone dodgy with a holdall taking a walk in the woods and if a passer-by seen you it would be difficult to give a description. The clothes were nice but it was very much a hidden woodland starsky and hutch show. Good Guy Bad Guy !!

Prada at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothes on display for Milan Men's Fashion by Prada was slightly recognisable as being Pradaesque, as usually there are some design factors in the Prada clothes collection which bends our way of thinking, and then believing in that which we are looking at, is in fact Prada. This collection from Prada for Autumn Winter Man 2013 2014 was with no mistake for Autumn Winter, it is just that Prada had the most staple garments of a A/W collection but has just a slight stamp from the fashion house, so making the clothing collection a little less distinguishable, maybe that is a good thing. What recieved alot of attention at the prada show was the set for the event, the show setting was based around a Prada living room space with furniture and items use to a household adorning the fashion set. Overall the collection drew inspiration from modern minimalism and teddy boy toned down, the 50's 60's now 2013 and still roks.

Salvatore Ferragamo at Milano Moda Uomo.
The Salvatore Ferragamo clothing fashions on the runway catwalk for Milan Men's Fashion were luxurious. The collection held well together in almost a military kind of way, the look was certainly Winter as the jackets would definately keep you warm and the other garments matched up well. The footwear had a stricking blue coloured sole, well not all the shoes but it was a nice touch.

Ermenegildo Zegna at Milano Moda Uomo.
The collection which was on the runway catwalk for Ermenegildo Zegna was suited and booted, well shod. The clothes collection was very astute and proper suits were gracing the fashionista brigade, the colours were mostly black or grey but the quality was very gentlemen expected. The show flowed with business precision and sometimes we gained a glimpse of something more casual, but the collection still held on too a formal appeal.

Corneliani at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothing of Corneliani at the Milan Men's Fashion show was smart and casual, but maintained a presence of quality and taste. The look was kept wholesome with the suits being a bit different on the design side, something i liked. The garments were straying into colour and that made the collection more interesting as colours are to be found and played with, and whats more, is that this Corneliani collection works.

Emporio Armani at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothes and accessories on the runway catwalk for Milan Fashion Man by Emporio Armani was classic Armani, in design and style the fashion was distinguished. The clothes on show were structured and detailed which we have accepted as a quality made garment staple from such a highly acclaimed fashion house as Armani, although this being Emporio that means we usually see a break for a more relaxed attitude. The colours in this clothing collection for the Autumn Winter 2013 2014 were mostly black although there was a various amount of grey and then some brown, beige and camel coloured items and also some tan colour which contrasted nicely with the other garments then there were blues and greens of muted hues which broke out into the show. Also donning the runway was a vast collection of leather jackets which were very attractive and with this being a winter collection we also get scarves and gloves which keep our bodies warm during bitter spells. Rucksacks & backpacks as well as holdalls featured in the collection with attention payed to travel, be it work or play. A favorite jacket would for myself be the fur lined coat which looked superb in tan around the body and grey on the arms and with the fur around the neck area, the button up front was slightly off to the side with the buttons large and exposed. Most male models also wore sunglasses or wore the sunglasses around their necks with a band attached to stop the glasses from falling, maybe they know that we will get Autumn Winter sunshine or maybe to protect from the glare which snow can give off.

Gucci at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothes on the runway catwalk for fashion house Gucci were well presented at Milan Fashion Man. Gucci had a variety of clothing in there show collection which made the fashion show captivating to the audience. There were colours in the Gucci show collection of clothes and for most the designs were mod and rock of the 60's 70s like, although brought more up to date with the hue of colour palette, to suit you sir. The suits had a strong silhouette and were quite tight fitting. The trouser fit was sometimes short to show off the mankle.

Iceberg at Milano Moda Uomo.
At the Milan Fashion Man event the design house Iceberg were displaying a very different style to the other clothes collections on show at Milano Moda Uomo, called colour blocking. Although not all the clothing was colour blocked, some of the clothes had just a hint of bright colour and the accentuation was a bright touch.

Z Zegna at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothes collection on the runway catwalk for designer Z Zegna during Milan Fashion Man was a very good clothes show indeed. The clothing collection was catering for many tastes and that seems to of included myself. Sometimes i find ranges of clothes a little understated and slightly boring, playing the game far too safe, but i cannot find the Z Zegna range guilty of that crime. The Z Zegna range of clothing in the collection was for the most part a blend of what we do get and therefore expect to recieve from a designer like Z Zegna, but there were a few items that were thrown in to the mix and ended out coming on top, not settling in the clogmire of cement. The attention is in the detail.

John Varvatos at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothing which was on the runway catwalk for designer John Varvatos during Milano Moda Uomo was rather dull but then maybe to keep with the Autumn Winter mood. A nice compliment seen on the John Varvatos models was the addition of fingerless gloves of various materials, although my preferance would be for the brown leather ones. The clothes collection was seen to present classics at the show, with double breasted suits and three piece suits and also a modern dark side with black playing the leading role. There were other colours playing a part in the collection mostly grey but then there was also burgundy wine colour, a deep purple colour which always reminds me of the rustle and Autumn falling leaves, and the changing of the seasons leaves on the trees or falling from the tree onto the ground.

Costume National at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothes which were seen on the runway catwalk for designer Costume National at Milano Moda Uomo were rock chic. The main colour of the show clothing collection was black although there was also a bright royal blue which stood out to the waiting fashion attenders, another popular colour was grey. The Costume National clothes were somewhat rock and roll not just rock, although i said that the main colour was black there were also changing materials being used, like leather which contrasted well in the complete look of the outfits, the cut and design of these fashion garments are paramount. The hats which the male models wore were inkeeping with the look.

Dsquared2 at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothing which donned the runways and catwalks of Milano Moda Uomo were inspired by times gone-by and the inspiration was the 1940's & 1950's, some looks were world war 1 or 2 soldier inspiring. The fashions which were worn by the menswear models, well, for most it was a relaxed affair with playfulness and gentlemen flair. There was some Jazz Era and cotton club music to inspire. The clothes by Dsquared2 was buyer friendly and with slimming tailored long and short coats teamed with drop crotch cropped jeans, some baggy woollen trousers and some military inspired garments thrown in the look. The other more eveningwear look was with slim fitting silk trousers or longer baggy trousers and highly decorated t-shirts with tuxedos. The footwear was sturdy for some and purposeful, this clothes show from Dsquared2 did every thing that a clothes show can do, and in that i mean the presentation and floorshow, the live music band, and the setting of the collection was very professional and creative, altogether making a theme, and using innovation to pass the feel and mood from the stage performance to the male models on the runway. The clothing at the Dsquared2 show was a variety of colour and models walked wearing hats and carrying bags or holdalls. The genius of Dean & Dan Caten, the Canadian born twin brothers, create fashion shows which are more than just a showing of clothes, it is like theatre performance. Scat Man Jazz.

Giorgio Armani at Milano Moda Uomo.
The Giorgio Armani clothing collection which was on the runway catwalk of Italy during Milano Moda Uomo for the Autumn Winter 2013 2014 was stylish and smart. The clothes were designed and displayed magnificently, from the 3 piece suits to the more sedate tailored looks for a relaxing walk in the town or perhaps an evening out. The clothes by Giorgio Armani were a mixture of colour, the outfits were based around black, grey and a colour which we have seen already this year and for this season Autumn Winter 2013 2014, burgundy wine, a hue of purple. Giorgio Armani also had the models sport sunglasses and also carry bags or holdalls, some models were seen to be wearing gloves, which is a great accessory in the colder months.

Missoni at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothes which were on the runway catwalk for the designer Missoni at Milano Moda Uomo were more casual than formal, although we did see some suits and formalwear. The main attraction for me about Missoni is the knitwear which we have come to know & love. The colourful stripe patterns which are usually evident in a Missoni show collection were there to be admired, although there were lots of knitwear garments which were plain one colour. Missoni also had some models wearing denim garments which was a top trendy look. The Missoni clothes collection had chunky knit type jumpers sweaters and cardigans and some were plain in colour with only the back of the garment being patterned in a bolder than usual Missoni zig-zag pattern stripe.

Frankie Morello at Milano Moda Uomo.
The fashion Designers Pierfrancesco Gigliotti (R) and Maurizio Modica walked on the runway during the Frankie Morello show as part of Milan Fashion Week Menswear Autumn/Winter 2013 on January 12, 2013 in Milan, Italy. Both the Italian fashion clothes designers who began the fashion label brand Frankie Morello decided to walk and opened the runway catwalk collection show for Frankie Morello during the Milano Moda Uomo. It is a rare sight to behold, a fashion clothing designer as the first face of a runway show. The clothes at the runway catwalk show or some , at first glance seem camoflague like, but on closer inspection were inspired by architecture, i take a guess at this seeing that the print of the clothing is of building facades, like stairways, windows and doors, oh and of course bricks. But not the whole entire clothes line is made up from the same style of print, Frankie Morello also has plain coloured garments in the Autumn Winter 2013 2014 show. The strange and different designs some might say quirky have become somewhat synonymous within the world of fashion design. This seasons Autumn Winter 2013 2014 designs for the menswear line are edgy but for some of the garments the success is in the cut of simple lines creating a distinct silhouette. Frankie Morello exudes plenty of character for those looking for attitude although not all the garments follow the line, some outfits are designed and made for wearability and comfort and may even seem dull in comparison to the loud printed clothes. At the end closing of the Frankie Morello runway clothes show at Milano Moda Uomo, the designers for Frankie Morello, Pierfrancesco Gigliotti and Maurizio Modica were both joined by Fabio Novembre, a reknowned Italian architect and designer. Designer fashion style.

Moschino at Milano Moda Uomo.
The fashions which were on the runway catwalk for Moschino during the show collections of Milan Fashion Week for men was entertaining and wearable, there were all kinds of fashions presented by Moschino from the formal suits to leather to casual daywear to eveningwear, all the clothes had the appeal of the Moschino brand label, what's not to like. The show set was in a restaurant with vintage bottles of wine and champagne cluttering the racks and shelves, whilst the male models made there way through the tables and chairs of the restaurants placemat settings. The theme of the Moschino clothes collection was captivating, as the use of colour and design of fabric material kept you enthralled, from Scottish tartans to bright prints and there was some lovely warm looking jumpers with stitch detail trademark of Moschino unmistakeable.

Fendi at Milano Moda Uomo.
The Fendi Autumn Winter 2013 2014 clothes collection which was at Milano Moda Uomo needed no second glances to decide for which season this clothing was made in mind for, but just to set the record straight i would wear the clothes all year round, weather permitting, but then fi you were wearing the clothes in the country from which the inspiration came from for such a collection then wearing clothes like these is normal. The inspired clothes from Fendi do hail from the colder lands of Iceland, i say colder but that asumptious. The collection from Fendi got inspire from Iceland and the relationship between man & beast or animal, the unbreakable bonds with nature. The clothing from designer Fendi was luxurious, from chunky knits to sumptious fur, wonderfully alluring, not so sur about the fur style ugg boots, runaway, but they are bound to keep yor toes nice and toasty warm. Fendi also showed a Fisherman's style jacket and the jacket played with the materials from which is was made perfectly. This season Fendi certainly were playing with the concept of clothing. Despite presenting a runway catwalk show which was for Eskimo or Icelandic people, only kidding, Fendi also had very structured tailored suits and suitably constructed long smart overcoats with dress shoes and neck ties, the standard of quality and design and style has made Fendi a fashion force to be reckoned with. Fendi looks were aesthetically pleasing.

Diesel Black Gold at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothing which was on the runway catwalk for Diesel Black Gold atMilano Moda Uomo was rockstar rock n roll. Diesel Black Gold are known for urban decadence sent out onto the show immaculate tailoring in jacket and trouser being clean cut and pristine. The Diesel Black Gold clothing collection was dark coloured using black, grey and some Autumnal colours since this is an Autumn Winter collection for 2013 2014. Diesel Black Gold seems to be running with the latest trend amongst many of the fashion designers Autumn Winter 2013 2014 collections, that is evident.

Les Hommes at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothes which were presented on the runway catwalk by Les Hommes for Milano Moda Uomo took inspiration from the film The Damned by Luchino Visconti. Many fashion houses take inspiration from film or film stars and in this Les Hommes clothing line we see an impeccable interpretation of actors Dirk Bogarde and Helmut Berger. Les Hommes has at the heart of this clothing collection an oxymoron which is a blend between opposite terms, military and delicate. Les Hommes has clearly handed out a history of clothes from the past vintage era, but thrust a twister of elegance and  beautiful detail amongst the confidence and authority. Luchino's film is used to inspire, as Luchino Visconti's film The Damned was inspired.

Etro at Milano Moda Uomo.
The Etro clothing which was on the runway catwalks for Milan Fashion Mens Week for the season Autumn Winter 2013 2014 was make no mistake Etro on form. The Etro clothing was not short of showing off the talent they possess for skillfully making their famous paisley pattern clothes, which i must say i adore. There were lots of patterns in the Etro clothes show and stripes of colour which is refreshing, as some shows go dark and seem to be guided by the dullness of the colder months, but this collection by Etro warmed the cockles and could bring a smile to the dullard of grime reapers. The inspiration behind this Etro collection is The Myth Of Transformation. Circularity. The Evolution Of Tradition.

Moncler Gamme Bleu at Milano Moda Uomo.
At the Autumn Winter collection clothes show for the years 2013 2014 at Milan Mens Fashion Week, Moncler Gamme Bleu put on a most effective show with tremendious attention given to the stage setting of the runway catwalk. The clothing event was shown in the style of a Scottish Highland scene after a battle in the snow, and the inspiration had surely come from Scotland in some form or other, be it Highland Games or Highland clearances. The male models had their faces painted with the colours of the French flag almost similar of that of which you would see at a french ski downhill slalom. The clothes were maybe a little bit off the piste although not so if you were skiing in Scotland. The models wore Tartan plaid jackets and rocked the kilts, they wore capes, and sporrans but the show wasn't all tartan, although Moncler Gamme Bleu did present all manner of tartan outfits for the show spectacle. Moncler Gamme Bleu had some quilt made clothing and even had a cable knitted suit which worked rather spiffingly. Highland Fling.

Belstaff at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothes which were on the runway catwalk for designer label and brand company Belstaff was the type of clothing which lasts and wears tremendiously hardy. The name Belstaff puts me in mind of Steve McQueen and/or Che Guevara who were reputed fans of Belstaff. The Belstaff clothing has been greatly used over the decades by motorbike enthusiasts The clothes which were on the runway  catwalk were a true representation of the historic Belstaff, why fix something if it's not broken. The Belstaff branding is talked about the world over and has become synonomous with quality. The collection by Belstaff was a dream clothing collection for the hard biker. Although fabrics were more diverse than just leather or waxed cotton, tailored suits were worked well and a rough smartness about the casualwear getting the styling of Belstaff, this is taking Belstaff on a journey whilst still maintaining their individual trusty garments. The type of clothing you can trust, rely on. Hold Tight.

Canali at Milano Moda Uomo.
The clothing range from designer label brand Canali was being displayed on the runway catwalk of Milano Moda Uomo for the Autumn Winter 2013 2014 clothing collections. The clothes which were presented by Canali were for the lover of distinguish, the double breasted suits, 3-piece suits even single breasted, but what would you expect from the classic gentlemans designer. The fabrics showed the luxuriousness of the brand Canali, the quality and appearance amazed. The colours which were used for this clothes line was very Autumnal but since this is the Autumn Winter 2013 2014 collection it falls into place nicely, with greys and hues of red. The collection from Canali did not fall short of it's calling, with discerning gents gathering pace as the sunset. The Canali clothing collection was taking to the slight military roads with long styled overcoats, perfect for that chilly winters evening, there was a luxury fur coat too, perfect for chillin. Canali distinguished looking gentlemen.

Do you have favorites from the Milan Fashion Man Autumn Winter 2013 2014 shows ?
Well, yes, i do, but i have a few, i do prefer when i like a complete collection from a show, but sometimes it can be a single garment from a show collection which you consider outstanding, although quality is something which should not be over looked, sometimes we do make sacrificies.

The Italian fashion houses from the famous brands and labels of Italy have shown that they still hold fashion design in high regard, it is good to know that what was learned from past fashion designers is still relavent in todays and tomorrows world. Fashion Week.
