In this blog i have models photograph's from both past & present era's, which you must try and guess their name correctly, so bearing that in mind let's roll.

Some of the model photographs i have picture of, you may remember with some distinction, whilst others may draw you a blank. I have tried to include models work from the current season being the year 2012 and have also chose a model which i found is and possibly will be fundemental to the fashion aids of the Fashionista.

I have chosen to make a comparison between 2 models 10 years apart in the grand scale of that which we call life.

The model who's photo is underneath was walking the runway / catwalk in 2002 for Paco Rabanne.

It is Devon Aoki, she was well known for her look back in the day, and made the most of it. Devon Edwenna Aoki was born on the 10th August 1982 in New York City, NewYork, USA. Devon Aoki started modelling at the age of 13 years old, after meeting with Supermodel Kate Moss, one year later at the age of 14 year old, Devon Aoki signed with model agency, Storm Model Management. When Devon Aoki was to reach 16 years of age she replaced the supermodel Naomi Campbell as the Face of Versace.

Well 10 years after the photograph above was taken there is a new girl on the block, i have picture's and photograph's of her walking the runway / catwalk at recent 2012 fashion show's.

The world renowed Fashion Week 2012 which travels the globe visits 4 main headlining shows, these are NewYork, London, Milan and Paris. Many of the designers offering to show the new collections at either New York, London, Milan or Paris choose the location due to being associated with the area, either through birth or maybe a marketing strategy. The large cities in these countries can offer the support that a high level event such as a Fashion Week requires. New York, London, Milan and Paris all have an abundance of facilities to cater for the largest of fashion shows.

In my opinion the model photographed above is quite similar to the model i have pictured below, the model below has walked many of the fashion shows this year2012.

If you already know the new girl model, then worry not, and enjoy the rest of this blog about her work as a model and the designers shows which she graced us her presence at. Although still having to learn the ropes a bit, she must be pleased with herself as to the amount of high fashion designers who required her in person for the fashion shows.

So, who was the best runway / catwalk model in NewYork, London, Milan and/or Paris ?

I, as with many others, have dedicated this blog to one of the newest models starting out in a career in the model industry. Many models who walk the runway / catwalk for the major fashion houses in NewYork, London, Milan and Paris have a certain flair, and it sure is nice to see a new kid on the strip. With more hard work and a dedicated mind this new model may be on the path to stardom in the fashion industry, because although it might be said that she is still green, meaning still learning and growing, if this girl puts in the work required then results may be achieved, she must look after her body. 

This girl model has a certain quality about herself which is seldom found, and which many, it would seem from the evidence, have seen and liked and booked the model at castings for the clothes show's. She seems to be unaware of just what it is that she has and that is quality.

This model offers the stylists a wide range of possibilities as she is so diverse. Although sweet and adorable it takes more than that to make it in the model industry. Her delicate charm is mesmerizing and she seems so  unaware of her potential appeal.

The photo above and below was taken at the Emilio Pucci show for the Spring / Summer 2013 collection had a very clean hair and makeup look. The clothes of Emilio Pucci were feminine seductive and alluringly beautiful, carrying strong impressions forward. It's Clear Too See.

This model is currently one of my favorite up and coming models who is showing great promise, and creates so many different accomodating looks on the runway / catwalk, which transfer onto the clothes she is wearing, that is such a gifted talent, to be so infused. At One. We Come One.

The 3 photograph's below were taken at the Chanel show for the Spring / Summer 2013 collection. The model had such a gentle, delicate, adoring appeal with simple sophistication, she carried herself remarkably well on the runway/catwalk of such a significant show as Chanel. Allure. 

Next is a photograph which shows the eye make-up which starred in the Christian Dior Spring / Summer show 2013 collection displayed on the runway / catwalk. There is also a picture of the over all runway/catwalk presented look. A funky & fresh look was on the cards for Christian Dior.

John Galliano Spring / Summer 2013 show collection had some striking pale eyelid eye make-up for the models to wear. The John Galliano show collection was a well structured piece with design and style cutting and stitching the collection.

Giorgio Armani Spring/Summer 2013 show collection had a play with the smoky eye make-up and sophisticated look involving hats and prim and proper, more upmarket and less downtown.

 

Yohji Yamamoto Spring/Summer 2013 show collection was displaying Punk, Rock N Roll, like hair-do's and clothing which was with difference and quirk. The Yohji Yamamoto collection is well cut and offers the cutting edge of designer fashion to it's followers.

Nina Ricci Spring / Summer 2013 show collection was a classy affair with a little sex appeal. The makeup was apparent and glowing and matched according to the outfit's which were stunning.

Gareth Pugh Spring / Summer 2013 show collection was definately rememorable, ah, thats where my mother left her crochet or knitting needles. The make-up was Geisha like with the pale white face although the bright red eye and lipstick was a clear contrast in comparison. The clothing which was shown was for sure unique and concise in it's structure.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2013 show collection had a graceful and fresh make-up look. The Marc by Marc Jacobs show collection had a vibrancy and youthfulness, although also had a transit gypsy feel to the whole look. The collection was cute and comfortable with swatches of red, white and blue. Travelling Flower Power Girl.

Marchesa Spring / Summer 2013 show collection had the make-up embellished and had a real bling to the look, the hair, braids, plaits, was very inkeeping with the cultural look and feel of this collection. The clothes which Marchesa showed on the runway / catwalk were definately romantic and elegant. Stunning.

Prada Spring/Summer2013 show collection was showing a disheveled hair style with the makeup being pure with a bright red lip stick on the lips of course. The clothing on the runway/catwalk for Prada was Oriental in flavour and so matched the look of this model naturally. The model had a naive and unaware look as to just how beautiful she carried off the whole outfit.

Fendi Spring/Summer 2013 show collection had some headgear on the models which held the hair in place and with the make-up the look was with bottom lid ornamentation and pure natural sophistication. The clothes by Fendi were godess like although i may just be such a fan of the iconic brand label, or it was maybe that the head gear resembled a crown. Fendi. Queen Fendi.

Missoni Spring/Summer 2013 show collection went with a whole-some make-up look apart from the bright red lips. The hair was slick back to the skull area and allowed to flow over neck and shoulders. The clothing, while some already know that Missoni is well known for the paisley pattern in past collections, this year 2012 it was a colour blend which was the new feel, as sported by the model below. Rainbow Fusion.

Miu Miu Spring / Summer 2013 show collection had a hair change on mind with this show with the model's having a short fringe to expose the forehead and ears while the longer hair was swept down the back, the makeup was nice with a smokey eye which complimented the complete outfits. The clothes at the Miu Miu show were slightly Asian influenced.

Honor Spring/Summer 2013 show collection had the stylists braid and pleat the hair, while the makeup was like a glow of warmth, warm and friendly, naturally sun warmed skin tone. The clothing outfits were charming and elegant as well as sophisticated. 

Well i hope you like what you have seen, the new girl model will no doubt be the next big superstar if indeed she already has not gained that status, she will succeed i am almost positive. The model in question has made so many appearances on the Fashion Week runway / catwalk all around the world, as Fashion Week takes part in many countries throughout the globe, New York, London, Milan, Paris and many other places which play host to this prestigious event. This model has such a distinct look, even with no make-up and natural, although once the make up artists apply the secrets of their trade, be it hair, or be it make-up, hey, it is usually both, then the model's transform, this transformation see's them taking on a persona which the designer and  artists have had a vision of. When hair, makeup and clothes have been applied then the look is complete and the runway / catwalk show can begin.

This model roks a certain typical Japanese Belgian vibe, if there is such a vibe ? and can and has rocked so many different styles that she manages to pull just about everyone out the bag. She has a certain presence, poise and attitude when working for varies clients, it is very important to work your walk with feeling on the show runway as your whole demeanour passes off onto the clothes which you are showing for your client.

Not all clothes shows are the same contrary to what some would have you believe, modelling is no easy task, especially modelling to this girl's extent, it takes skill. Her portfolio of work will be bulging by today's date and i am sure that all the top fashion designer's for who she has worked for will endorse her work fully. You go girl.

It is so very important for a designer's collection to be presented in the way in which it has been thought-out. Hopefully nothing goes wrong when the show is underway and everyone is happy. The collection is the livelihood of the designer and should something go array then there would be some explaining to do, not also that but the show collection of clothes would suffer the consequence, and hence the fashion industry would lose out. So you see everyone is under immense pressure when doing a fashion show as there are lots of different activities going on from staging to catwalking and much more people involved than many people think, there is alot of preparation needed for a fashion show, so thanks to all it may concern.

A Sweet Tooth Perhaps !

Mathieu Mirano had the runway / catwalk collection available for all to see, the orange did not need much peeling, you certainly could taste no bitter pith. The orange colour was H2T, Head To Toe as you can see in the photograph's below. The top was see-through transparent and left little or nothing to the imagination, near naked or nude, but the solid pants more than completed the look with the added footwear just finishing the whole outfit. Orange Juicy.
