ANTM, America's Next Top Model : British Invasion having started the modelling competition with a total of 14 aspiring model's, made up from 7 girls from America, USA, and 7 girls from the United Kingdom, UK. The girls from America are all new to modelling, whilst the girls from Britain have already appeared in a past edition of Britain's Next Top Model, BNTM or BINTM, Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model.
Today there are now 10 girl's left in the contest to become ANTM, America's Next Top Model, and with this edition being the British Invasion it is possible that a Brit could earn the title of , although somewhat ironic, America's Next Top Model, ANTM. This is the British Invasion, Britain v's America. USA v UK.
The remaining ANTM girl models are informed by Jay Manuel that they are all invited to Toronto Fashion Week, where they will be sent to castings for several designers to see how they do in the real world of modelling, this is the ANTM's chance to book the job and walk the runway, so grab your portfolio's and pack your bag's because your leaving on a flight to Canada tonight.

On arrival in Toronto Canada the ANTM girls meet up with Jay Manuel, the photo shoot creative director, at the CN Tower, which is the western hemisphere's tallest free standing structure. The models are a bit nervous but become a bit more relaxed when they are told that they will not be doing a model shoot dangling at this height, phew.
Jay Manuel tells the ANTM girls that they will be going on real castings for real fashion shows which will take place for Toronto fashion Week 2012. The girl who books the most shows and does the best during the Fashion Weeks castings is going to win pieces from Jay Manuel's clothing collection and will win the chance to fly back to Canada for a special event.

The girl with the most fashion show bookings made from the castings was well a tie, a tie between Eboni aged 18 from Seattle, Washington, USA, and Sophie aged 22 from Oxford, England, UK. Both Eboni and Sophie booked 4 fashion shows, so the challenge winner will be decided on who does the best tonight on the runway for the designers that the ANTM girls will be representing forToronto Fashion Week 2012.
A few ANTM girls received no bookings from the castings challenge, these girls were Catherine, Ashley and Seymone. Ashley from Scotland says she would of liked to walk on the runway for Jay Manuel's Attitude collection and say's "let me walk in your show for God's sake", Oh dear scottish lass, although she did not say that to Jay manuel in person.

After the catwalk the ANTM : British Invasion girls finally get to see the Hotel they are staying at, it is the One King West Hotel in Toronto. The ANTM girl's are staying in a 3 storey penthouse in the hotel and it is amazing, all the ANTM girl's agree. At the hotel mum Ashley is disappointed about not having booked any fashion shows.
It has been decided by Jay Manuel that both Eboni and Sophie deserve to win the prize which was on offer, as the girls who booked most runway shows. Sophie and Eboni as winners receive clothing from Jay Manuel's Attitude clothes range and they both win an all expense paid trip back to Canada for the Calgary Stampede, the largest rodeo in North America, and it is there 100th Anniversary. Congratulations.
The America's Next Top Model contestants are in the Distillery District of Downtown Toronto which is a historical part of Toronto where the girl's will be taking part in a photo-shoot.
For this weeks photo shoot, the girls are covered with organic maple syrup and wear nothing but leaves. It is going to be about shapes and colour and what you can do in your modelling. It sounds so Canadian, Maple leaves & Maple syrup.

The girls fly back to Los Angeles for panel and most of the praise goes to the American girls. While her photo is critiqued, Catherine from Great Britain breaks down to tears for not booking any of the shows in Toronto. During the casting challenge three of the ANTM America's Next Top Model : British Invasion girl's received no bookings, those girl's were American Seymone and British girl's Ashley and Catherine, all three girls are upset at not obtaining any bookings for Toronto Fashion Week and being able to walk the runway for one of the eight fashion designers that were open to be booked for their latest fashion show.
The panel judges for America's Next Top Model : British Invasion are Presenter - Tyra Banks , Fashion Photographer - Nigel Barker, PR Maven - Kelly Cutrone, and guest judge, Supermodel - Beverly Johnson.
The picture below is of Beverly Johnson who is the panels guest judge this week. Beverly Johnson born 13th October 1952 in Buffalo, New York, USA. She made history and rose to fame after becoming the first black model to appear on the cover of American Vogue magazine in August 1974. Since that ground breaking deal Beverly has appeared on many other magazine covers and been in many television programs and films as her career progressed in many directions.

Eboni's excellent photograph earns her first call-out, American Eboni receive's best photo picture of the week, the next person called out by Tyra Banks is America's AzMarie, then British Sophie followed by America's Seymone, then American's Laura and Kyle, Tyra Banks says that it is ridiculous that 4 British girl's are left waiting a result while all the American girl's are through. Alisha is next to go through then Annaliese is called to go on with a chance to become America's Next Top Model. UK v UK. Britain v's Britain.
Now there are only 2 girl's left waiting for the result of who will stay in the competition ANTM : British Invasion. So it's Catherine (picture above left) and Ashley (picture above right), two British girl's who have landed in the bottom two for not booking any of the castings. Catherine who previously broke down crying in front of the judge's earlier in the program and is ultimately saved due to the sheer strength of her photograph, her strong photo prevails, while Ashley, pictures below, is eliminated from the competition despite her endearing personality. Ashley Brown, 22 years old is Scottish, hailing from Armadale in Scotland and was representing Britain in ANTM, America's Next Top Model : British Invasion. Ashley who has 2 children is sad but happy to be leaving ANTM, America's Next Top Model : British Invasion, so mixed emotions, Ashley has a lovely personality and she has had a super amazing time and considers herself luck to of got this far in the competition ANTM : British Invasion.
