Styled To Rock brought to you by Rihanna. The world of fashion and celebrity come together to find the next superstar fashion designer. Only 7 contestant designers remain in the competition TV program Styled To Rock. The designers are mentored by fashion designer Henry Holland, pop star Nicola Roberts and Rihanna's personal stylist Lysa Cooper.
High fashion with high drama, it's Styled To Rock.
The client for this week will be real fun, as will the challenge to create and design an oufit for an International Superstar. This weeks client is The Scissor Sisters, a pop group with famboyant and eccentric look and who love the club scene. The winning oufits will be worn by The Scissor Sisters on stage during a London date of their European Tour. The inspiration for the Styled To Rock designers is to come from the Scissor Sisters new single cover Only The Horses.
The Styled To Rock designers are split in two with one half each designing a womanswear oufit while the others are to each design a menswear outfit.
The menswear will be designed by Jacqueline, Heidi and Ralph.
The womenswear will be designed by Zainab, Meganne, Ricky and Steve.
The brief for Scissor Sister Jake Shears is ; Flamboyant, showstopping, Scream excitement, Ventilation.
The brief for Scissor Sister Ana Matronic is ; Bright and Eye catching, silhouette is key, lowcut and clinched at the waist, sexy and attention grabbing.

Before getting into the Scissor Sister challenge the designers have a surprise challenge tonight. It is supposed to get the designers into the clubland state of mind for the challenge. It is announced that the challenge will take place at night, tonight, and that the designers have 3 hours to create an outfit for going out this evening at the legendary club in London called Boom Box. It was a place to be dressed outrageous and roks, for fun and to be noticed. In order to gain entry to the club your outfit would be scrutinised and you may be refused entry. Lots of fashion designers have attended club Boom Box such as Gareth Pugh and Henry Holland. The designers must design an outfit which is original and fierce to gain approval to enter the night club.
So its off to shop till they drop then the designers of Styled To Rock must create their vision for the club night, they need creativity, originality and style. When the time is up it is off to club Boom Box and a long wait in a queau like no other. Fabulous.
It is decided that 2 of the oufits designed are not fit for entry, and as such are sent walking not rocking, the two Styled To Rock designers nnot getting in are Meggane and Ricky, so they head home while the rest of the designers party on.
After a late night it is now time for the next challenge, the designers ned to have focus as they only have 3 days to design an outfit for Scissor Sisters. During the designers work they are visited by mentor Henry Holland at the design studio, he gives advice to the Styled To Rock designers about their outfits, which may be stage wear for pop group Scissor Sisters. The designers work hard to create, design and make their outfit and after 3 days graffting they each achieve their desired vision, an oufit for either Jake or Ana of the Scissor Sisters.
Now is show time, its showcase day, wher the designers creations are viewed by the panel of mentors and judges and also Ana and Jake, the Scissor Sisters.
On the runway at showtime is the menswear collection for Jake, he approves of the designs.
Next up , the womenswear for Ana, she shows great interest in some of the designs.
After the showcase the designers of StyledTo Rock must wait for Jake and Ana to make a final decision on which outfits they will award as winners, and then wear at the bands forth coming gig at Londons Shepherds Bush Empire.
All the Styled To Rock designers are asked to enter the showcase room wher the winners are announced.
The Scissor Sisters, Jake announces that Ralph has his winning outfit.(pictured below right).The Scissor Sistera, Ana announces that Zainab has her winning outfit.(pictured below left).
Although their will be happy winners, the mentors and judges must decide which 2 Styled To Rock designers will be asked to meet up with them later at the design studio, before one of the two will be asked to leave the Styled To Rock competition to design an oufit for Rihanna.
The two Styled To Rock designers which the mentors want to speak with are Meganne and Ricky. The mentors and judges listen to the designers and also give their own views, and after much deliberation a decision is made, and so the final decision is that Ricky is to leave styled to rock.
